
It has been a busy few months here. We recently took in a momma rat and her babies who are up for adoption. After that we took in some hamsters who were all living together in small cages with males and females in the same cages. Momma is mean and not happy here at all. She is stressed with the other animal smells. I may have to find a foster house for her to see if her stress levels will go down. I also have taken in boys who are the worst biters I have ever seen. I am pretty sure they will require some neuters. I picked up 3 boys who come to find out had a horrible diet and they needed a better one which we gave them. I have a few adoptables and a bunch of them that will probably just live their life out with me. When you rescue it isnt just taking them in and re-homing them. A majority will live their life with you. I love doing this but some days it is hard to see how many people just toss ani
